Tbh Its too poorly Drawn to tell wtf is going on in that Thunder Bagua Panel. Idk why Oda didn't just draw it from the usual perspective
It's just what Roger did to Oden.... Exact same panel.

Him LANDING the club is much more devastating, but again it's not a "slash".

It seems with a weapon at the very least you can follow through all the way to the end.

None of them were hit directly by the club. It was just a CoC blast that was aimed at both of them.

Very similar to Roger vs Oden

Nah he was behind Zoro and then zipped across past both Zoro and Law. He ends up behind Law after. This means it wasn't a Shockwave attack

The perspective is fine, you see Kaido behind Zoro and then behind law after.

You literally see the "shockwave"....

The thing is going in different directions. It's not just Kaido "zipping by".

Not really. Kaido clearly ends up behind Law and Zoro after the attack so it's not just the shockwave.

Seems very similar to the first Thunder Bagua we saw, where he moved so fast it looked like he basically teleported, which seems to be what the white lightning effect is trying to convey.

Law and Zoro were blown off to the side, whereas Luffy landed directly behind Kaido after Thunder Bagua. Not to mention Zoro was pretty much laying on the ground when Kaido used Thunder Bagua. 40+ foot Kaido would have had to swing like he was golfing in order to hit Zoro.

Guys they weren't blown off to the side, Kaido is literally zipping past them and hitting them.

Look at the perspective. Before he strikes he's behind zoro. After he's behind Law.

Before Striking:

Kaido -> Zoro -> Law

After:

Zoro -> Law -> Kaido

It's not that hard to follow. It's the same exact attack he's done to Luffy

  • Base Luffy is good enough to fight Kaido 1 v 1 all of a sudden now
  • Marco is fighting King and Queen on his own
  • The 9 Scabbards are healed and back in action
  • Otama has control over all the SMILE users that have been hyped up since Punk Hazard and Dressrosa
  • The Beast Pirates on the Main Floor have joined the alliance
  • Otama just befriended Big Mom and she just rocked Page One
There are absolutely no stakes or tension at all.

FFS. It's going in 2 DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. Look at the panel.

Hes NOT moving in two directions at once lol, he was behind Zoro first then hit Zoro, then hit Law, then ended up behind Law.
There's no deviation there. It's literally 2 PARALLEL lines.

Then why did Kaido still clearly changed positions after the attack?

Thunder Bagua uses his attack + the momentum/speed of his own body.
