There's this misconception characters necessarily need to fight off imposing opponents to increase their power levels exponentially, but Teach is the proof of how that's not necessarily mandatory, 2 DFs notwithstanding. Of course Zoro will probably fight these opponents and eat no devil fruit.

I mean it’s false tho, we don’t know what Teach went through before the story started. And Rayleigh did say that you get stronger by fighting stronger opponents.

I'm merely referring to the notion that haxxed devil fruits can make a realm of difference. An even more patent example would be, let's say even Current Zoro, eating Goro Goro no mi, he would turn into a gigantic power house. These are hypothetical examples, there are more feasible ones. Or if he managed to learn penetration ACoA and so on. (Well assuming Oda won't play dirt and prefer not to allow swords attack to feature it, which would be bad in my personal view).
