I'd say make the Tyrannosaurus Rex fruit user a girl, after all the largest (and arguably most complete) fossil of Tyrannosaurus Rex is named "Sue" (despite not being proven female, its been informally gendered as such).

A Triceratops would be dope though. Three horn style + a bulky fighter the size of an elephant.

I get you, I think the 1 I'd want to change most is Queen's, just because of how similar it is to Jack's (bulky ancient herbivore).

It would be cool if Queen wasn't a human too (like Jack & King) in addition to having a unique zoan fruit (preferably poisonous or venomous to suit the "plague" theme)

Well, I think Queen should be a human considering he's the "land" part of the equation lol. But I was sold on the scorpion theory up until we saw his DF, but I'm not disappointed. I'm sure, in hybrid forms, those two will have very different fighting abilities. Afterall, mammoths have tusks, their trunks and thick hair. Queen has sheer mass, a long tail and neck to work with. There's enough differences between them IMO.

I mean a female T-Rex is cool but I want to have Sanji vs the male T-Rex (the leader of the Flying Six) and Zoro vs Triceratops would be dope as hell:finally:Three swords style vs three horns style:steef:

Remember the time when we all thought king was gonna be a mythical zoan because of his wings and flame?

Still kinda sad that queen wasn't ancient water scorpion. (but his 'brachio bombs' attack was pretty cool).

Jack and his mammoth devil fruit is fine.

If it were me, id want:

King: Firebird (taken from Slavic mythology). Since Marco has already taken the Phoenix fruit, the firebird is perfect for King. The mythology says a firebird's flames never stop burning (it fits with King's design, with the fire on his head never burning out). Also unlike the phoenix, the firebird are said to be dangerous and unfriendly and can be a symbol of harbinger of doom. So the firebird can be a nice contrast to marco's kind phoenix, King's evil firebird of destruction.

Queen: Eurypterid, Ancient Water Scorpion (Ancient Zoan) They are some of the largest known anthropods to have ever lived. Plus they can swim. If King can fly and Jack is a land mammal, then it only fits that queen should be a water animal. Big body, small eyes and flimsy fins, it would fits queens character design. Queen's long pigtail=scorpion tail, queen's small sunnys=black scorpion eyes, Queen's mechanical arm= scorpion claw. Scorpions are also venomous, so it fits with Queen The Plague title, bringing disease and poisoning people, making them unwell and sick.

I also thought Kaido could have the Oni friut. The mythical ogre from Japanese folklore who were the described as the 'Wardens of Hell'. It would fit Kaido since he already has the horns and iron club, a japanese/asian style design AND for the fact that he was also imprisoned in Impel Down.

Since Jack is the weakest of the calamities, him having just a regular mammoth zoan is fine to me. But if he was to be Kaido's right hand man, then he should be given the mythical war elephant god from hindu mythology.

But alas, sadly what we got was: a reptile with a small body, a long neck lizard, and a hairy elephant

Nice, I like the idea of them all having mythical zoans! I guess we still have the flying 6 and the numbers so will be interesting to see their abilities

Love love LOVE Jack's design but would probably not have given him the Woolly Mammoth fruit. At a certain angle it looks like he's got a massive peen on his face. :giogio:

I dread what his hybrid form would look like.:pepeke:

But I like him as a tough durable meathead with bash/smash abilities. Simple and crude, but effective.

Queen - the technophile scientist of the Calamities. I'd have probably given him a paramecia DF. Maybe an upgraded version of Baby 5's weapon DF. Instead of turning into weapons Queen turns into things like tanks, frigates, submarines Bomber aircarft, aircraft carriers, etc.

King - Mythical Zoan Model Ifrit - powers up and/or regenerates by burning things. Opposite of Marco. Heck give him wings even.

Looooool @ Jack, I think his design is cool too & suits his fruit

I've never heard of an Ifrit before? Sounds pretty cool though, I like the idea of Kaido's 1st mate being a mythical zoan!

With Queen I personally would keep him as a zoan, just goes with the theme of Kaido & his crew if his commanders are all powerful zoan users. Some ideas I've liked for Queen so far have been Ancient Scorpion, queen bee, & poison dart frog, I think a mythical basilisk fruit would be pretty suited to him as well

To be honest I doubt we would ever see something like a Ogre, Minotaurus, Hellhound, Fallen Angel, ect., Zoan.
All canon Mythical Zoan are from Japanese/Asian Mythology, so I highly doubt that we would ever see European, Middle Eastern, African or Native American Creatures in the (canon) story in form of DF.

We did see a Phoenix and the Phoenix is from Greek mythology, so anything is possible :)
