Powers & Abilities There has to be something unknown about forging blackblades other than haki because it doesn´t make sense for Roger, Wb and Rayleigh to not have one

Considering the way the story is going, i will take a guess and say that it also needs a strong desire whether to kill, protect, conquer or whatever in order to do it.

I expect the top dogs on the verse to be masters at ALL types of haki, luffy is taking this path so it would only be right that at the very least roger also did the same.
Yeah top fighters will master all types, but i mean Mihawk and Ryuma and EoS Zoro should be able to push CoA mastery even further than the likes of Roger-Shanks-Luffy who push CoC mastery even further.

Hypothetical examples

You are called a master of haki if your mastery of haki type amounts to 5 or more

Mihawk and Zoro:

CoO: 6
CoC: 7
CoA: 10 (result in black blade)

While

Roger and Luffy:
CoO: 7
CoC: 12 (result in skysplitter)
CoA: 7

Maybe you need an extremely strong attachment to the sword or either way peak sword skills. That will be somewhat of an excuse for Zoro and Wado and the only other 2 people we know to have/ have made black blades: Mihawk and Ryuma, WSS if their time and probably best in history exactly because they have made their black blades.

The problem now for me is that what have black blades that makes them special? Only the feat if making one seems something really exceptional but actually, about the sword, Zoro had one, Shusui, for more than 2 years. That sword should be something unique aling with Yoru which is Mihawk blade but in truth Zoro just returned it to Ryuma without the sword never showing anything special (it is only extremely durable if compared to ither swords, but that was an info we got pre haki, was it Thriller bark arc?) and on the contrary Enma, the sword he get in place of Shusui, seemed a monster sword in a way (for sure looked way better than Shusui, the Wado or the Nidai) despite not being black.

What I see it as is Kaido and Bigmam weren't Awakened but Luffy is.
Shanks , Roger , WB might have the skills still not Mentally and physically One with the sword To Make it a black blade.

It's got to be something like having a certain level of relationship with the blade.

It's said the blade tests the owner and I think once a certain level of trust and strength has been made with the blade the haki will remain on it.

Or perhaps Mihawk has just been capping this whole time and paints it black.
So how will zoro make swords black he's had less than 2 years if not weeks but Roger oden and shanks who have had swords for over 30 years can't?

The most likely and simplest answer will require extreme amounts of copium, even more than 1058.
The becoming one with your sword and relationship thing being the main factor is stupid because we literally have Roger naming his son after his sword, idk how much more loving relationship etc. you need than that.
Calling the name thing (this ain't Bleach) already happened in King fight.
Black paint (super trolling copium shit).

So three options are left (one is another copium take)
CoA Mastery/Strength, stronger CoC already means that you have stronger CoA, CoC is based on user's power level, stronger CoA is prerequisite of stronger CoC. CoC cannot be trained to become stronger directly. You train to become stronger (physical but mostly haki [offense and defense] since TS) and hence your CoC becomes stronger.
Stronger Haki: Simplest answer and not mutually exclusive with the next option
History of Battles: Results in becoming stronger with stronger haki (haki blooms) and experience, but doesn't explain how Zoro might be able to forge 1/3 at such a young age

You need all the above to forge one with varying degrees
- You do need that relationship/name thing specially with how swords are depicted as choosing their masters by Kozaburo
- You need lots of battles for the relationship/trust thing, experience and haki blooms
- You need the strongest haki (CoC and CoA at least since CoC is just the upgraded/stronger version of CoA now)

Of course their is a chance that something else is required also but going by Mihawk saying that any blade can become a black blade, Hitetsu saying that Enma may become one depending on Zoro and Gyukimaru saying how Shusui was forged into one through battles I think the chance of something like that is pretty low. It should be pretty special though since we learned how DFs came into existence (desire of humans - some really weird desires in OP) and we still don't know completely about black blades.

With the likelihood that Zoro will have 3 black/supreme blades (hinted by Sandman) the thing about some special relationship decreases (the special relationship is more special if it is just one instead of three) as well as history of battles (don't expect Zoro to have fought more battles than Roger/WB/Shanks/Oden etc.) because of Zoro's age. The likeliest answer then is just pure power/haki.

Not sure could be down to how Oda portrays swordsmen.

If ones goal is to stand at the top of the swordsmen then to understand the way of the sword and have a deeper connection to the sword is important.

Roger, Shanks and Whitebeard etc treat blades more of a means to an end not a path to live by.

Much better than the theory you need a certain level of CoA as that makes no sense at all based on the characters like you said didn't have black blades.
