Loda will always tease, he will never let them shine on screen simply cause he's that insecure.

Always remember that Loda added Zoro as a backup MC, in case Luffy (his desired MC) was a flop. It almost sounds as if Loda did this without his heart in place, but purely out of cynical realism.
Now that the series is too big to fail, he doesn't need to make Zoro shine anymore, and doesn't want to give anyone the wrong idea. It is Luffy show.

ZKK, and Zoro's treatment in Wano (samurai island!) should've been a wakeup call.
