What Sommers just did is the reaction everyone does when they see Rayleigh, they soyface and go ¨OMG it´s the Dark King!!!¨ etc, Oda was just giving Gaban his opportunity for that treatment. I doubt it´s related to them having a personal interaction.

Garp is literally there even if he went on his own. Unlike Sabaody, marine HQ is probably too far.

In my opinion, Void Century will either get a movie or a Really long flashback - the alternative is a separate manga - but that would mean Two Piece, and i think it's too crazy.

Would be cool to have big focus on the void century. We'll probably get a chunk of it during Laughtale but we'll always need more to fill the 100years. Now imagine if we get a standard 10chapter flashback
