Literally Zoro and Sanji are almost the same as Rayleigh and Gaban Luffy even confirm it with sanji when talking to Gaban... So basically Yamato is a parallel to Oden the traveling the seas at some point Yamato might return sooner than we think.. personally the crew needs it cause I personally think Loki will be needed for Elbaf protection but you can argue Yamato needs to be in wano for Wano's protection just like Katakuri for Whole cake island's protection after Linlin's Downfall... We just gotta keep waiting to see when oda will open the curtain up for Yamato to hop on board
Wano won’t need Yamato when it has Momo, who was fire blasting down an Admiral before Saint Shanks interrupted.
Any doubt on Momo’s strength can easily be resolved similar to Oda powering up Tama and Koby.
And Yamato certainly won’t succeed in defeating Blackbeard anyway, since Luffy is meant to defeat him, necessitating a reunion. It will all work out, without Yamato becoming Momo’s guard dog servant needing to kill her dreams to go to sea.

Yeah, but Zoro and Sanji are Luffy's #2 and #3 same as Ray and Gaban were to Roger, Zoro and Ray use swords, Sanji and Gaban have less conventional fighting styles, and the overall dynamics between PK M3 and SH M3 kinda has a similar vibe. Oden didn't idolize Roger and was more of WB team guy.... Also, Yamato has a club and it's very unlikely choice for your typical katana-wielding samurai.

Yeah, as a former Yamato4nakama stan I often think that we're actually quite lucky she didn't join. Better to stay a legend who stalled Kaido 1-on-1 than clean up fodders!

Honestly I am glad now Yamato didn't join or like fatbei she would start to get anti feats 
That feels very inconsequential honestly. Luffy's Big 3 being Sanji, Yamato, and Zoro would be perfect since Roger's Big 3 had those three Roger Pirates as well. So I'm def looking forward to seeing this completed.

I am not saying I don't see the parallel, as both are adventurers from Wano, I am highlighting that to me this parallel feels thinner than the PK wings one. Oda constantly reinforces Luffy = this era Roger, and his right and left hands reflect Roger's. That "number 2" gag from semi-conscious Gaban was mirroring Sanji-Zoro dynamic very well. Meanwhile, when I think of Oden's & Yamato's childhood flashbacks, one was a delinquent and a troublemaker, while the other one was an abused child. Yeah, you can argue that both of them had a strained relationship with their fathers, but Oden's father actually put up with him until Oden turned 18, and he didn't try to starve him to death.
Maybe I am like this because I want Yamato to be her own person instead of being a self-proclaimed Oden. Anyways, let's agree to disagree and hope for some Yamato greatness in the future chapters.

I agree that it would be good for Yamato to become more of her own character. Arguably, she's doing that already since she was willing to stay back in Wano, even though Oden sailed out first chance he got.
As mentioned, along with Oda's SBS response, we're inevitably going to return to Yamato once Blackbeard, Kozuki Moria, or whoever else gives Wano a visit. There's also Momo pushing himself to prove to Yamato once and for all he doesn't need her to defend Wano, since he wouldn't want her to kill her dreams because of his failures. So yes, I'm having good vibes over this.

Bonney is staying in elbaf with Lilith she found a shelter for the next laboratory to start working on Kuma and making him human again. Loki will need to be a protector of elbaf after the crew leaves Idk what is gonna happen with Vivi atm gonna wait until Oda gives more info on her situation... Carrot is now caretaker of Zou... And Yamato is getting warmer and warmer each chapter comes out for a crew invite
