Let’s say Tou and the Ouki army replaced Kanki at the battle of Gian. He still has Shin and Mouten but his own commanders and soldiers instead of Kanki’s. Would the outcome be different?
I binged Berserk weeks ago. I was very pleased with it. It's a example of how to write a edgy epic adventure story.

Now recall how much trouble Juukou alone gave Tou, Moubu, and Houmei…
And then imagine Kou En conquering dozens of Juukou’s by himself. lol
It's clear that Shibashou and all 4 of the Seika Generals we've seen are very experienced in warfare.
