Powers & Abilities How strong do you guys truly believe Helmeppo and koby are?

Coby imo will be very relevant in the arc where Luffy and co go to rescue Sabo in Marijoa. Oda has already set a good part of it: Sabo captured(?) Boa so we will have him and Boa as well, there will be Vivi too most likely, maybe reveal of Greenbull and who knows, it is also a good arc to finally show Vegapunk (given that Sabo originally go there to free Kuma) amyway Sabo to be relevant has at the very least to be in YC range, if he is just a veteran/tobi roppo Luffy and co will leave him in the dust. Also it will probably start to set up Coby as future rival for Luffy (but probably that will be for after the series end, maybe in a flashforward at the end of the manga). So stronger than what you put in the list.
About Helmeppo he never get any real care from Oda so he will be at best an helper of Coby but far from his level. At best I see him as a veteran or tobi roppo but that is difficult.

Pretime skip smoker didn't have haki though. Or a means to defend himself. Beside coby also has a speed advantage and observation advantage against pretime skip smoker.
Also need to take into consideration that koby is a marine hq captain that has been fighting pirates in the new world. A place way more dangerous than the north blue etc etc.

The problem with this statement is who are the weakest flying 6 members?
Sasaki was damaging general franky which is made out of wapo metal
Pageone in both anime and manga was never even hinted at being defeated by raid suit sanji. He also took luffys gear 3 elephant gun and barely even took damage. And this was his full zoan form. Hell dude had to be taken out by a coated coC punch from a yonko
Ulti literally at one point even made luffy think about using gear 4. She also got up a few chapters later from bigmoms Lazer canon that was the combination of 3 of her homies including one that was recently created that was much stronger than Zeus. Got up and had to be taken out again by Zeus.

Agreed. I think koby actually specializes in speed and observation haki while drake is more durable with more raw strength.
Would not be surprised if koby knows advanced ryou to compensate for the fact that his attacks aren't as hard hitting against the strong tiers of the new world. For example a ryou enhanced rokogun
