Start it from 780, that's the chapter after he beats Bellamy. That's also after everyone else wins their fights. That fight doesn't end until 791. So technically 11-12 chapters.

But again, my point is that tons of other things happen in between. Katakuri is a longer fight. Older fights lasted this length too. Crocodile, Lucci as well, with other scenes filling the gaps.

The difference is this is Kaido and not only Kaido exists, but Big Mom. I just think it's going to last longer than 10 chapters, hence my 15-25 chapter estimate, when you include Oda giving everyone things to do in the middle

I don't think it will take that long. Luffy's fight has gone through all their stages, it's just waiting for the calamities to go down.

I don't think it will take that long. Luffy's fight has gone through all their stages, it's just waiting for the calamities to go down.

I just think with a of the other subplots left to finish (orochi/saving the captial/hiyori/finishing the war/landing Onigashima/CP-0/Etc) it might last longer. Not necessarily the fights, but the sheer plot that needs to be resolved.

But I do think these 2 Yonko are warranted longer fights than normal. Neither seem to be thst critically tired/injured at all.
