Sanji's cooking ability has never been questioned. He has always been known as a great cook however his cooking skills isn't waht the fandom are disappointed in. It is his abilities that they are dissapointed in, getting wrecked every arc and now he finally "awoken" his power ranger powers.

But lets play the combat angle.

Cap. The reason why people bring up the fighting argument with sanji is because he gets hardly anything done outside of that recently. Him baking a cake was legit the only thing he did that was ok outside of combat. And so people focus on combat and then that looks bad as well. Not because he lost but because he had to be saved. And now that we are finally getting the sanji shine is terrible since it's not even coming from what he has trained for or accomplished and instead comes from daddy messing with his Gene's making him like his brothers. And now sanji runs from the fight that he is supposed to be invested in to help his crew mates. It's sad really

whitebeard was studly ngl, but kaido and big mom were extremely disappointing.
kaido and big mom are so scared of marines and SSG they needed to form an alliance just to even the scales.

When it comes to Sanji. Like I said, Oda doesn't have any other ideas for that fight so delays it until the "minor battles" are finished so that Sanji can put on the RS and bitchslap Queen.

it is called yonko evolutionist. They evolue to find explanations why yonko happen and how yonko should be stronger than admirals.
To understand stalemat, look up blood cell dinosaurs. Also they found 310 million year brain.
