Versus Battle Obito and white Zetsu army vs the shinobi alliance

Same circumstance as within the war arc but obito would directly be on the battlefield and he does not have kabuto's help as he does within the series proper.
The shinobi alliance would not have naruto and bee instead they stay on the island as they were intended too. The gokage would be on the battle field at all times much like with obito.

Can obito and his zetsu army beat the entire world as he originally intended or was he just stupid?

Yes. The whole point of the Zetsu stuff was to draw out the shinobi forces and keep them occupied while he fought Naruto and Killer B. With the information he had at the time it could've worked. If it wasn't for Naruto's sensing and Kakashi's last minute save of Naruto Obito would've became the jinchuriki a lot sooner. Either way he still would've revived the 10 tails and with no hokages being revived the alliance gets stomped
