I checked the raws and it didn’t say anything about “hell”. It’s just Stephen Paul putting it into his own words.

However it uses the same kanji (斬り) for “slice up” as Zoro declaration in 997.

This shows that Zoro didn’t just want to give Kaido a cut. He wanted to defeat Kaido like Wano citizens said the alliance would.
