IMPORTANT: I WILL NOT COUNT VOTES FROM THOSE WHO DO NOT VOTE FOR EACH FIGHT. ALSO IF I SEE OR NOTICE SOME SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY THAT ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

In this round in this thread we will have 12 characters, which means 6 fights.

FIRST FIGHT

ALUCARD
Alucard is the main protagonist of the Hellsing series created by Kouta Hirano. He is the most powerful weapon of the Hellsing Organization which works against vampires and other such supernatural forces.

That's his first scene in the series after spending several years sealed.

Alucard's introduction is great for a simple reason, the scene condenses all of the character's distorted and sadistic personality through excellent direction.
The contorted movements, the piercing gaze and the blood are enough elements to convince the viewer that Alucard is not your default main character.

START AT 2:30 PLEASE.

VS

DIO FROM JOJO
The reason why I like this one so much is because This simple introduction of a character, basically caused all bad things to happen in all of jojo. this boy has had influence in all parts up until 6 and even after his death the effects of his actions can be felt all over the world.

Most villains get such a menacing introduction for their debut. but this is so simplistic that works even better, who knew this boy would wreak so much havoc

SECOND FIGHT

THE JOKER FROM DARK KNIGHT
Joker (The Dark knight)

Joker, The Clown Prince of Gotham

Does this character even need an introduction? Considering he might be the most famous villain of all time, most people started watching this movie with an idea of who the Joker already is.

But you see, this version / interpretation of the character needed a strong start, because when it was announced that Heath Ledger would take on the Joker role, the majority of the DC fanbase turned on the movie, they had 0 faith in the actor's ability of capturing all of the elements that made the Joker such an iconic character.

So you need to put yourself into that mindset to understand why i believe this is one the greatest introductions / debuts of all time. Imagine the movie is about to start, you are a fan of the Batman comics / movies and you love the Joker, but you have 0 faith in Heath Ledger's ability to bring a good version of the Joker. Then the movie starts, and in just the first 5 minutes of the movie, your mind has been changed.

Link to the Scene

We start the movie following a crew wearing clown masks for a complex bank heist. While we follow the actions of the criminals taking control of the bank, we hear them talking about how they are gonna have to split the money from the heist in 6 shares, 5 for each crew member and a piece for the head of operation, some guy called Joker who uses makeup to scare people, like War Paint. One of the guys in the crew is mad they have to share part of the money with a dude who will just sit out on the actual heist.

One of the members of the crew puts grenades in the hands of every single civilian / worker and pulls the pin, telling them to hold on for their lives and not do anything to interfere with the heist.

Then, we find out that the Joker told a few of the members to kill off one another after each one has finished their part, like the guy shutting off the alarms and the guy that cracked the safe, telling them "one less share to split". One by one, the crew's numbers starting going down.

By the end, when there's only two guys left, one of them turns on the other and says that "i'm betting the Joker told you to kill me as soon as we loaded the cash", but the other guys says "No, i kill the bus driver". At this moment, a Bus comes crashing through the wall of the bank and killing the first guy, revealing another member of the crew the rest didn't even know about, the bus driver helps load the cash and as soon as that happens, the other guy kills him without even looking, being the last member of the crew alive.

While the last guy alive is finishing things up and getting ready to leave, a manager from the bank that is still alive tells the last guy that the Joker is going to kill him like the rest of the crew, but the criminal walks up torwards the manager, puts a grenade in his mouth and takes off his mask, revealing to us he was the Joker since the start.

The Manager asked the Joker what he believes in, so he answers with:

"I believe whatever doesn't kill you, simply makes you ... stranger"

The Joker then starts to leave the bank, entering the bus, all while having a wire attached to the pin of the grenade he put on the manager's mouth, and as soon as he leaves the building with the car, the wire is pulled and the pin from the grenade drops, revealing it was a fake smoke grenade from the start.

This scene is a perfect introduction of this version of the Joker, described by the director himself as a "a psychologically credible anarchist."

In 5 minutes it estabilishes everything the Joker is and for the most part of it, we don't even know the Joker is in the scene, with that only being revealed in the last few seconds.

In just these 5 minutes we learn:
  • The Joker is a mastermind / planner capable of extremely complex plans.
  • He is chaotic and doesn't care about peoples lives, making them kill each other and killing people without looking at them (something he does the entire movie).
  • There's a small hint when the hacker turns off the alarms that shows us the Joker didn't want to steal money from people just for the sake of it, because the alarm / emergency number of the bank wasn't 911 or a security company's number, but a private number, which is later revealed to be conected with the underground organized crime of the city.
  • Even if he is this more realistic / serious take on the Joker character from the comics, this version still has some of the "fun" of the original, by using fake smoke grenades on the civilians to make them scared and the way he smiles and laughs while leaving the scene.

VS

GOD FROM OPM
GODยดs introduction:

First,we just see the moon in the background

Then we zoomed to the moon and see how GOD come from the dark background.God climbing the Moon is one of the most terrifying shit ever
I felt like I heard slow stomping sound effects with these panels

And then we see this Giant "thing" standing on the Moon
And then GOD killed HE while standing on the Moon by taking his power back
The fact that the Panels were in colour felt like this thing is something special in the OPM Verse

Top-Notch Intro for GOD

THIRD FIGHT

MADARA UCHIHA

Madara was built up to be a complete monster through out the story and he shows how op he really was when he came back and basically went against a whole army using only hand to hand combat. Then afterwards proceeded to drop not one but two meteors on top of them back to back.

No matter how you think about Madara as a character that was one of the coolest and most bad ass scene in the entire manga and anime.

VS

LUFFY
Hello good people, clearly the best intro for an Anime character is non other than Monkey D. Luffy.

When we 1st see Luffy we realize he is a special kind of idiot. I mean who sets out to sea in a barrel, The Effing Future Pirate King is who,
A lot of main characters are introduced in a serious tone where we see them go through a trauma of some sort or they fall are helping someone overcome a problem that isnt of thier concern, but Luffys was pure foolery.
We see Coby being berated by Alvida and her pirates just for him to basically be accidently rescued by a jackwagon sleeping in a barrel (it was a great sleep mind you).

Luffys unique intro of being the comedy in a serious situation while claiming the most serious dream is why his Intro is better than everyone else and its not close.

FOURTH FIGHT

ESCANOR FROM NNT
The GOAT Escanor.

I assume most people are familiar with NNT.

Escanor appears in the latter half of the manga because he is too fucking strong lmao. Escanor breaks the game, he's the embodiment of unfairness.

What happens here tho is the following. Two Commandments appear at Escanor's bar. Commandments are the highest ranking demons of the Underworld, with only 3 demons, Chandler, Cusack and the Demon King himself, being ranked above them. Their combat classes go from 28 000 to above 100 000. Before the Commandments showed up the highest combat class we saw was like 5000 iirc. Shows you how crazy hyped they are. They destroyed everything wherever they showed up. For the large part of the manga only Escanor could wipe the floor with them.

The deal with Escanor tho is that his power is during the day. As long as the Sun is up, Escanor keeps getting stronger. During the night he is in his normal human form, weak as fuck lmao, his combat class is 15 in that form lol. But as soon as the Sun goes up, you better run away. His power increases the more the sun is up. And when it hits noon, Escanor is literally the embodiment of invincible power.

The two demons visit Escanor's bar at night. Escanor hides Ban and Jericho from them, and the demons wanna drink and play games. Galland challenges Escanor to a game. They will each hit each other and the first one to die or run away loses. Escanor, in his night form, the weak one, says OK. Galland hits him once and knocks him out completely.

The demons continue to drink the night away until morning. Galland notices a huge axe, that he can barely lift. He wonders what kind of axe is it, and how it can be wielded at all. He thinks it's a two handed axe. Escanor, due to morning and the Sun, appears in his buff form now. This is the early morning, so the weakest Escanor is, bar the night of course. Escanor then tells him that he stands at the peak of all races, not lying btw, and that he is the sin of pride.

Galland starts laughing at him, Escanor joins in in the laugh and then casually, while holding back, swings his axe and cuts Galland in half. Melascula shits herself at the sight of all of this.

Galland stiches himself and being angry uses his critical over that increases him combat class from 28 000 to 40 000.

In that powered up form he swings at Escanor, hits him in the arms, the shockwaves of the hit travel far and wide and destroy mountains, but Escanor gets nothing but a little cut. And now it's Escanor's turn. As you can also see, Escanor just keeps getting stronger and stronger. He puts the fear of death into Galland so badly that Galland turns around and starts to run away from him. Doing so, Galland broke his own commandment and turned to stone.

A Commandment is a "cursed" Magical Power created by the Demon King over 3,000 years ago, and bestowed upon ten different elite warriors of the Demons. There are ten in total and each has a unique curse of absolute power bestowed upon anyone who breaks its rule, even upon the holder himself/herself.

Galland was bestowed with the Commandment of the Truth.
The Demon King bestowed Galland with the Commandment of Truth. This Commandment determines that any who tell a lie in Galland's presence will be turned to stone. Only those who are aware they are lying will be affected.

But it doesn't end there.

Melascula who attacks Escanor's soul directly, and eats it, burns up from the heat of his soul lmao. Melascula's combat class is 34 000.

She entraps Escanor in the Glooming Cacoon. Melascula envelops her opponent in darkness, trapping them within a pitch black sphere. The cocoon is extremely resistant. According to Melascula, even a member of the Ten Commandments could not break it. Although she said that the only time it was broken was when Zeldris used the Demon King's power. It requires the power of the Supreme Demon King in order to be broken and Escanor's soul does it casually lmao.

So there you have it. Two top ranking demons straight up negged by Escanor's power. In the morning nonetheless, when he is at his weakest, bar the night of course. And then this man decides to leave not to passively kill off his comrades due to his power. GOAT. Can't get better than that for an entrance.

VS

Nobunaga Oda from Sengoku Basara
He is an extremely badass, cool, stylish, merciless, intimidating, fearsome, commanding etc presence who rocks the world of Sengoku Basara massively when he appears and takes action too.

I'm going to let the videos/scenes do most of the talking for me as they will do him far more justice than I can and you will see exactly why I wanted to submit him too:

1. Nobunaga Oda's brutal debut in the Sengoku Basara anime.

From this scene alone, we have the epic choral music signifying shit just got real and Masamune Date, one of the strongest, most fearless/infallible, jovial, iconic, skilled, stylish etc.* is completely frozen in fear by only the sheer piercing glare of Nobunaga Oda.
Which is exactly the same effect Mihawk has on people and Zoro also did to Monet too ofc after learning from the true Grandmaster himself! Yes I said Grandmaster, deal with it lmao.

*(a sort of Dracule Mihawk and Roronoa Zoro of Sengoku Basara who is voiced by Zoro's actual VA too funnily enough)

I still get chills from seeing this scene now, especially with the amazing Bleach-like music. Remember the hype moments of Bleach with the choir music? For Aizen and what not? This is similar!

( In fact, Akechi Mitsuhide, the Shinigami/Grim Reaper-looking guy next to him also plays a similar role to Ichimaru Gin somewhat if I remember right?)

I won't keep going on about the scene as you all can clearly see why it's so impactful and great ofc, I will just be acting like a narrator or stating the obvious if I do it haha.

It's very low quality I'm afraid but I also want to mention and show his amazing debut in the 3rd Sengoku Basara game, Samurai Heroes:

2. His iconic debut in Sengoku Basara 3: Samurai Heroes as the ultimate threat, (subbed/Japanese).

That was my first introduction to him before the anime happened and it was one of the most initimdating, badass, iconic and awesome character and especially villain intros I've ever seen.

There is a HD version of it but it's English Dub and the dub is quite cheesy although has some also great voice acting here and there, so it's understandable if anyone is not keen to check it: though ofc:

3. Same as No 2 but English Dubbed and in HD.

The way he just literally comes out the ground and literally comes back from the dead and escapes and rises out of Hell is IMMENSE! He kinda reminds me of Kaido mixed with Mihawk to think of it and the dude is so badass, that he uses a sawn off/double barrelled shotgun and sword at the same time! I really wished for Orochi to have been more like this or an actual Nobuanga Oda character in Wano in this vein too.

His dialogue, entrance, the music, visuals/effects, it's all on point. Coupled with his amazing design and fighting style, he truly is a God or as he's called "Demon/Oni King" amongst men/mortals.

I think he even conquered Hell and that's why he can come back to life too. But I really can't remember? He is sort of undying too, you have to kill him a few times over, completing a ritual or something to truly put him down and return him to Hell? But he's like Orochimaru from Naruto and never truly stays dead/down and always comes back?

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy reading and learning about this absolute badass and iconic villain and I hope his debut is interesting and impressive to you as it was for me! Thanks in advance to whoever does vote for him too and if you want to see more of him, why he's so badass and awesome, check these out too!:

4. (Not Eiichiro) Oda bodies mega mecha (who really wants to be in Tengen Toppa Gurenn Lagann) Tadakatsu Honda.

5. Epic gameplay reveal trailer for Nobunga in Samurai Heroes.

6. The glorious theme song from the anime of the legendary Demon King himself.

FIFTH FIGHT

UCHIHA ITACHI

Itachi Uchiha

Itachi first appeared in Volume 16 of the Naruto manga and anime in March 2003 and April 2004, respectively. The original manga ran from 1999โ€“2014, with a follow-up volume in 2015. Versions of the anime series ran on TV from 2002โ€“17.

Itachi had black hair, tied into a ponytail with long parted bangs. He wore a headband with a leaf symbol with a horizontal slash over it, signifying his โ€œmissing-ninโ€ status, meaning that he had cut ties with his native village, the Hidden Leaf Village. Itachi was also often outfitted in a long black robe with white and red cloud patterns on it, signaling his allegiance to the Akatsuki, a terrorist organization. He rarely showed emotion but was prone to shows of force. Having been traumatized by witnessing a previous war, he was a pacifist and would often run from confrontation. He possessed the powerful Sharingan and was a ninja prodigy in his youth.

VS

LEVI ACKERMAN

How does one make the best impression in a show where human is being shown as inferior, powerless beings being devoured by the humongous and flesh-eating titans in a series? Appearing in a flash and killing the so-called superior beings in an instant! Yes, thatโ€™s Levi Ackerman, who is truly called โ€œHumanityโ€™s Strongest Soldierโ€.

While his official debut was in episode 4 of season 1, we see this awesome man in full action in episode 9 where he carves up giant titans before you can say daddy. Not only did he save his comrade from getting eaten by such a titan but he saved him from the brink of death by slicing up the titanโ€™s nape effortlessly. From the beginning itself you get to see why the title is so fitting, why heโ€™s truly humanityโ€™s strongest soldier and why he stands at the top of the power hierarchy. He sliced up three titans back-to-back without breaking a sweat. He will make sure that all eyes are glued to him as no one can deny this manโ€™s cool badass charisma and cold demeanor.

Levi Epic Moment

SIXTH FIGHT

QIN SHI HUANG FROM ROR
Qin Shi Huang from ROR.
ROR is a battle seinen in which the humans battle the Gods in a tournament, 1 vs 1 rounds, in order to secure the survival of mankind. 13 humans from across history have been chosen to participate.

Qin's entrance is straight up boss. The panels speak for themselves.

First off, he's fighting Hades, a supreme God in the hierarchy. Look at how hyped Hades is. There's only one man that can beat him according to Bu chan. Goll, who has witnessed Gods like Zeus(The Godfather of the Cosmos), Thor(Nordic's strongest God and berserker), Shiva(The strongest God of destruction in Heaven and a Supreme God), Poseidon(The God of Gods), etc fight, thinks it's unfair to have Hades in the roster. But Bu chan tells her that only the King of Genesis can be victorious against Hades.

And then moving on to the entrance. Qin just shows up wreaking the buildings nonchalantly looking for his lounge. Humans and Gods have separate lounges, with Gods' obviously being much better. As he's wreaking the place he notices the VIP Gods lounge. Obviously an Emperor, vainglorious and cocky, he naturally assumes that the VIP room must definitely be his lmao.

The seat in the picture, the empty one is Hades'. Ares used to sit there before Hades showed up, but since Hades showed up Ares doesn't dare to sit there. Ares is the big muscular one. Instead, even though Hades left to battle, Ares sits on the chair that's about to break thanks to his physique. Now, my boy Qin Shi, enters the Gods' room nonchalantly, no one ever did that before, casually ignores two Gods there, Ares and Hermes, and goes straight down and sits on Hades' seat. The utter shock on Ares' face as Qin sits on Hades' seat is amazing lmao.

Ares and Hermes, confused and wondering, while Qin doesn't give a damn is glorious as well. Ares tries to get Qin to move, wants to grab him for his arm and take him away, but Qin, whilst sitting down, straight up negs Ares in one move, with the flick of his wrist. That even causes Hermes, to move away, shocked. Then my dude Qin proceeds to tell two Gods to humble themselves because they are in the presence of an Emperor. Straight up boss energy through and through.

But this man doesn't stop here. He says wanna see me flip Ares again eh.

And then his entrance to the arena. God tier.

He descends from the Gods' side. Cocky as he is. He has all the Emperors of China make practically a red carpet for him on top of their heads so he can walk over. DAMN. BOSS.

He walks the path of an Emperor. Enjoy.

VS

King Zahard (Tower of God)
King Zahard (Tower of God)
Some scrubs* show up to surprise assassinate him, but he's already waiting for them, and then gives the most epic self introduction ever:

Said scrubs roll for disbelief, insisting that the King should still be sleeping. He chastises their arrogance for being so confident in the little glimpses of the future that they saw:

They'll see for themselves, whether he's truly the King or not:

Meanwhile, the world trembles.

The plebs dare to believe they can stand against the King. After all, he's just one man right? The King then proceeds to stunt on them in truly glorious fashion:

In case it wasn't obvious how badly Zahard was about to fuck them, he literally does it with a massive golden cock:

This? This is the face of a man that has been well and truly screwed:

* In actuality, they are some of the mightiest warriors of the rebellion, and their leader has the ability to see fate/destiny. He saw a vision of Zahard sleeping in his Floating Castle and sought to secure victory by quickly assassinating him).

Respect Zahard.

Also, read Tower of God.

F1: Alucard for me.
F2:

F3: Madara duh.
F4: Escanor duh.
F5: Both are overrated as hell but I liked Itachi slightly better than Levi.
F6: King Zahard's debut was godly but QSH's entrance was a huge flex for me so I picked him.

Yeah, Zahard and Qin shi are the best ones, this could be a good final :/
Yeah, I really have no idea why Light matched them up against each other. It would have been much better if they faced off against each other in a later round.

Yea i only voted Qin cuz it's more recent and it's still fresh in my mind i read these panels with Zahard a milion times xD
This is a betrayal to Tower of God, bro.

It's a good thing you changed your name from "Enryu". Otherwise I would have had to revoke your license.

As is, you're getting stripped from the Tower of God tag lists.

Anyway, my tentative choices:
  1. Alucard
  2. God
  3. Madara
  4. Escanor
  5. Itachi
  6. Zahard

Lol, Zahard has the best debut bar none in the manga.

Even crazier was that it was in a flashback.
