kaido looks slow, but looking back he's only speed feat was thunder bagua, even thunder bagua in this drunken mode looks slower as well.

the combination between gear 2 & 3 is a nice alternative to gear 4, since physical strength and armament haki are now obsolete, luffy is getting the benefit of both size and speed with much lower body stress and haki consumption.
