Underwhelming ending...if this is the end. Kaido's flashback was weak and too short. Oda wasted too much panel time and now the arc has gone so long that Kaido can't get a proper 2-3 chapter flashback. What a shame. Cool clash panels though. Chapter was a 3/5 for me.

nope for this case his Dragon form was the best form , since only that way he could have coated himself with that magma fire + haki and at the end it was not enough Luffy's ryuo was better. Kaido's hybrid would have done nothing. no matter what he would not have resist such force.

Law's attack hit the ground. It didn't even do damage to onigashima. If Luffy punched the ground there would be devastating damage and if he punched onigashima it would have been rekt.

Kaido is the strongest no doubt but Luffy just won a clash of strength against him and maybe even ending him, so after the fight, Luffy will be considered a candidate for the WSC title.....
Oda is going deep, the biggest villain is the WG and almost every other evil is created by WG actions.

At the end Luffy won the haki clash. thanks to a combination of ryuo and CoC.
that giant dragon was equal to the giant fist but Luffy's haki surpassed Kaido's.

I don't think kaido was using haki at the end rather the dragon was eating luffy's punch

A white eyed Kaido just outside the flower capital...where have I read that story before? No brilliance of dawn as of yet. Momonosuke and luffy are either exhausted or are on their final legs, can't wait for their panic when Kaido gets awakens and gets back up.
All that is left is for the strongest Swordsman in Wano to take Kaido's head.
The simple fact that Kaido gets knocked out in his zoan dragon form, and not his Oni form, tells me that he is going to awaken. Just like the Impel down prison guards got knocked out in their zoan form and then awakened.
