There is no enduring losing half of your body. The point is that anyone who gets hit with Ikoku in the manner which King Baum got hit is losing half of their body because even though King Baum's exterior is much harder than human flesh, he still lost half his body.

You cannot endure losing half of your body. You can endure losing a portion of your brain but you cannot endure losing half of your heart. It's instant death!

No they don't. They have incredible endurance but the average person does not have the durability that surpasses that of tree bark. If that was the case, theres no reason for Luffy or any of the straw hats to dodge. Shanks lost his arm to a sea king's bite. Garp got blooded by a punch. Durability is how much you can withstand before you take actual damage. Fleshy One Piece Humans take damage just fine. Their bodies aren't extraordinarily hard. The only thing is that most notable characters have stupid high endurance and can withstand those hits.

Did I say anything about using Haki or body hardening techniques?

- Vergo Knew Hardening and Tekkai
- Doffy Knows Haki and in his fight against Luffy used hardening on his face. We didn't see what happened in the explosion.

We've seen other characters that are top tiers get bloodied by far weaker attacks when they don't have their defenses up.

Sanji also knows Haki and was on guard. I'm not talking about Haki. I'm talking about anyone eating Ikoku in the same manner which King Baum took it. I will reiterate. Garp was bloodied by a punch from pure fodder. WB was hurt from the stabs and blades of pure fodder who lacked haki. Roger was executed by East Blue Fodder. The Toughness of most characters bodies does not surpass that of tree bark.

An attack that pulverizes everything including stone which is much harder than human skin will erase anyone in the OP world that eats it without any protection. That is a fact!
