Low effort thread this time, make of it what you want.

It is not a secret that Oda is a fan of Star Wars and with the recent development, it seems like we are going in the SW direction...
Planets and Moons have been in front of our eyes this whole time and we havent figured it out until Saturn's name dropped.
Wano introduced us to five families, all of which bear a different name of a Moon!

Five moon families in Wano and now we are seeing five planetary names among the Gorosei - Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus and Mercury.
The other 3 planets are given as names for Ancient Weapons - Uranus, Pluton and Poseidon...
Kinda odd, considering Ohara's research and model show 6 moons around Earth...
Maybe, in One Piece, Earth is considered the center and all others are considered moons... It would explain Clower's model with 7 visible celestial bodies around Earth and also the Kozuki symbol with a central body and its 8 moons as well as the same thing in Skypiea with a central body and 8 moons surrounding it... Also, a flag in Alabasta...
Enough of celestial objects and back to Star Wars.
It should have been obvious ever since that chapter 1055 when Shanks released his haki, if it wasnt obvious before with Zoro's trails...
CoC coating is Oda's version of Star Wars' thing called FORCE! A force that one has to draw out and release...

That brings us to the main event of how Black Blades are forged.
Ryuma's blade was forged through his long history of battles.
Mihawk has a history of battling Shanks...

The key to Black Blades is FORCE!
You have to use your sword to defend against the force to forge it black!
Continues exposure to aCoC lightning scorches the blade and it becomes black!
But dont overdo it or it might break! :crazwhat:

Considering that Zoro wants to forge 3 of them black, I am not sure if Shanks has enough juice left. But I believe in him.
You can do it, Shanksu. Ganbare!

Zolo used CoA Sword Barrier without even turning his blades to black:

Considering black blades was a PreTS Concept, Oda just tells us you can use advance CoA and CoC without turning your blade to black.

Black Blade are is a swordsmanship / high quality swordsmith combination, nothing to do with superior Haki level.

Because he didn't need to and there's no rule that you're forced to use a Black blade.
He has a Black blade, panels confirm it above.
You're coping.
  1. Just because a blade is black doesn't mean it's black
  2. Ok its black but he obviously didn't make it
  3. Ok its black but he's obviously using coating it on purpose for no reason
  4. Ok just because its black doesn't mean its black what if its a different color and we cant tell without color
  5. Ok what if oda made it black by accident and it was an error
:smart:

Not in relation to another.

There are only three blades drawn like this Shusui, Yoru and Aramaki's. It look identical.

Don't compare it to fraudo who didn't get an info box like Lucci to confirm his awakening. He just sucked dick as a warrior.
Or idk maybe he used coa on it and it stayed like that for a few seconds
Like zoro vs king
Enma was still black even tough it wasnt in zoro s hand
