While I'm pretty sure this isn't how most arcs go, the meme was pretty funny honestly.
Honestly the biggest " damsel in distress " arcs were Enies Lobby (which was written beautifully despite that) Dressrosa and uh... Maybe Marineford, technically, if you count Ace as one?
Really though even Marineford was just a rescue arc and not exactly a DiD one.

Usopp being that good shooting doesn't make asspull or doesn't need to have anything with CoO. People has misconception about what CoO is.
M3 in Enies Lobby I would say that just G2 and Asura is slighty of asspull. Both doesn't make sense but at least G2 is good as hell while Asura sucks. Sanji's Diable Jambe is perfect power up.
