And ''Emperor'' Luffy:
You all know why Luffy appeared in the right time and in the right place, just to save Vegapunk.
Emperor Luffy losing and Government winning, meaning another Shabody incident, would do nothing for the story, especially now that the Emperors should keep winning according to the story.
Another interesting parallel that, Blackbeard pirates ship approaching Egghead, probably its a scout similar to how Burgess alone went to Dressrosa, this time its either Devon or Laffitte, then the main forces (previously it was Shiryu) will arrive, possibly Blackbeard Teach himself.
Perhaps Blackbeard Pirates will unwillingly or by coincidence or fate, help SH Pirates again, as they already distracted some forces of the Marines on Hachinosu island, led by Garp and Sword members, and also Cross Guild as well distracting Marine forces with the current news and by putting bounties on Marines head.
Remember Impel Down and Marineford?
I said its a parallel because, even though it was by coincidence, (or fate) Luffy and Teach helped each other to takedown entire Impel Down:
- Blackbeard captured Ace, delivered him alive instead of killing him
- Luffy went to save Ace, gets captured, but then managed to escape
- Revolutionary Ivankov and 2 Warlords helped him, they escape
- Meanwhile Warlord Teach attacked Impel Down and beat the forces on the gates
- This led to Magellan freeing Shiryu, who was said to be Magellan's equal
- Instead of Shiryu fighting him, Shiryu accepts BB's superior power and Warlord Teach recruits Shiryu instead in level 1
- Teach passes through Magellan's poison wall in level 2 (Galdino's Wax and Buggy couldn't pass), goes all the way down to level 4 that helps Buggy's team without noticing
- Warlord Teach takes out 1000 men bazooka squad and Hannyabal who were defending the stairs, and Jinbe thanked him for that
- Teach thanked them as well since the panic they created helped him a lot
- Warlord Teach gets poisoned by Magellan with a quick attack similar to Yeti Brothers vs Post-TS Zolo, and Magellan kept following Luffy
- Magellan follows Croc, Jinbe, Luffy and fights Ivankov and wins
- Luffy and Galdino's Wax stalls Magellan
- They run from Magellan
- Magellan can't follow them on the sea because there is no ship, and this time Magellan gets negged by Warlord Teach, then Teach goes to level 6 and picks the strongest level 6 prisoners
Then Marineford, once again, Teach's actions helps Luffy's and Buggy's team:
When they had no hope to pass the gates:
They thought Buggy was the prophet of the God:
It was all because of Teach:
Laffitte: ''It looks like some other people benefited from that too...''
Again, with some luck or coincidence or fate, Teach's actions helped Luffy's and Buggy's group so they managed to go to Marineford and fight government.
Then in Marineford, again with Luffy's actions that distracts Marines even though he failed to save Ace he did enough to push Marines away from execution platform, Teach's group manages to get there without getting detected on execution platform,
so they managed to pass Marines and kill Whitebeard, steal his DF, and then fought Fleet Admiral Sengoku, which also helped Luffy's group (Marco, Jinbe etc) who was trying to defend Luffy from Akainu.
And again, Shanks came to Marineford, stops the war from both sides, saves Marineford from Teach, thus Sengoku agreed to stop the battle since Teach agreed to stop.
See the pattern here, it almost like Oda specifically chose these 4 figures (Buggy, Luffy, Teach, Shanks) helping each other (without noticing, unwillingly) before the time skip vs government:
- Impel Down
- Marineford
Is it going to be the same and these new Yonko will beat the Government by helping each other (again without noticing and unwillingly)? It looks like a foreshadowing.
Imu also cutting down not only Luffy's poster but also Teach's poster is also another foreshadowing.
This could be also the reason why Oda removed Kid and Law from the equation as well, since he replaced them with Shanks, Buggy and Teach.
