the entire final villain organization has this one power… Meaning even outside of their actual individual powers, this one ability IS WHAT MAKES THEM THE FINAL VILLAINS
Like Oda could have very easily just made ALL OF THEM busted. Like Oda could have said “Gunko is the weakest Holy knight And she’s ADMIRAL LEVEL”… Like Oda could have gone the power escalation route and said these guys are th final villains because they are all Admiral to Yonko+ level
but he didn’t. It’s likely going to turns out that the holy knights are about as strong as a Yonko crew… So why should they even be the final villains? Well, Oda is telling us why… It’s this regen power… This one power is single-handedly raising this group to Final villain status

I don’t deny HK regen being hax and difficult to bypass
i deny that you need AdCOC to bypass it or even just COC
I don’t think all the guys who will beat HK will have it
it will be difficult to counter either by destroying something, or having a tool, or learning a special move
But the moment we knew low level guys could have Imu had regen then you wouldn’t need a « power » type of move / mode to bypass it

Fine. But this regen is quickly being revealed to be like THE THING that must be dealt with in the final war
Like it could genuinely turn out to be the biggest plot point in the final war to somehow deal with it
so whatever it is that’s needed to deal with it CANNOT BE something that could have been done by just about anyone at any point in the story… Like the Revs raided Mariejois… we cannot learn later on that actually Sabo could have done something the whole time during the raid to beat the regen
Anyway, this is assuming we don’t learn how to defeat the regen in Elbaf and the holy knights in this arc arent defeated
