If Yamato dies, her devil fruit could be stolen by Laffitte which completes a popular theory that is, Blackbeard’s third power’s a Zoan fruit.
Devon and Augur appearing secretly on Egghead can be so they can steal the recipe that Vegapunk used which allowed the weapons and Zoan fruits fusion, like Funkfreed.
Yamato being a guardian wolf for Wano person, could mean she has to guard Pluton, the weapon that BB has dreams of obtaining.
The fruit is based off of the ‘werewolf’, using the moon, which goes with BB’s night concept.

My point is, I was CONVINCED 99% that Yamato will join because everything seemed to fit perfectly. And then it didn't happen. Because the crew is full, nobody joins except Vivi who's already a member anyway and the nakama debate is nothing but a zombie these days.

Mathematical and logical approaches don't work here. Oda writes something only to subvert it in order not to break the crew power dynamics for example . Remember how Carrot was written? The antithesis to Chopper and built up as a future sh. And then everything about her portrayal changed, she was written out of the story and the fried rabbit in early Elbaf was the final middle finger to all carrot will join believers that were still around.

The way carrot was written, imo didn't fit past sh recruitment.
First Carrot forced her way onto luffy ship, so honestly thought she not join since she had a home and was happy back on zou. If she came that be great, but oda only goes for the misfits/outcast. So other red flag.
Carrot for example came as friend on trip with her friends and went back home to zou to be the queen. she lost her friend pedro but before that she was fine. Yeah it sucks for those hoping she joins, but she became like vivi, a friend who will show up to support the sh later!
Loki on the other hand, fits all the past pattern of being recruit by luffy, He a outcast, not wanted/misfit. Those who get the early interest at the start of arc from Luffy have a higher chance of joining, he already got the invite from luffy.
Imu and the rest of the holy knights are gonna be tough, Loki coming is much needed upgraded for the weaker crew imo, protection.
