many of the vgc and competitive players on social media have been extra salty and pretentious about it ever since it got announced. im also surprised that pokemon even listened and changed the rules this fast though, they never changed anything in past mainline games when it came to regulation rules but I guesd they are following what they do with pocket by listening to playerbase feedback

I had set a pin and I can't even find the noise anymore. Might have been a Budew that saw me before I found it and ran away. My game also autosaved when I was catching a Flabebe since I don't know what it's shiny looks like. My first shiny fail ever since I've been playing Pokemon since I was like 7.

I have a 2 different shiny florgesses if you want one

as in the Hyperrouge Ange battle or Zygarde? Admittedly I had a tougher time with Ange since I have no special attackers on my team (that could tank hits, which Froslass cannot)

No, the first time you enter it to unlock the Rank A battle. Was literally my first encounter in there.

ngl I'm a bit confused. did you mean that you lost the B Rank battle (Jacinthe) needed to unlock access to Lysandre Cafe/Team Flare HQ and eventually the Rank A battle (Grisham)? Or finding the Key Cards to unlock the main elevator in Lysandre cafe? or something else that I am not getting....


Catching just 1 Beldum there took me about 3 straight hours and about 80 resets/closing the game. Way harder than catching any other Pokemon in Z-A outside of Diancie in a Love Ball

maxed out the Blue Canari Plush before I even got to Rank C but it didn't help at all, and neither did maxing out the Green Canari Plush against the Hyperrouge Ange battle....

conversely it took just 1 ultra ball for me to catch alpha metagross in zone 20 without resetting even once...😔

ive only been able to catch froakie once lol, fennekin you just have to hide behind the mini walls until it turns its back and then you throw the pokeball (save immediately once you're in a position that it doesn't detect you and flee before attempting)
