No, because I’ve always felt that a 3rd fruit would mostly just be pointless. Besides making him look visually different there’s not much else a 3rd fruit would do for him to make it all that different from just having 2 fruits.
The only point would be if it added some sort of hax, but then...
What is there to discuss in the first place? Besides the same old tired topics that have been run into the ground?
With the glacial pace of the manga itself, there’s hardly any material to carry weekly discussions too. Mockery and glazing is all that’s left to do, and that gets boring quickly...
I said this from the start. Since Sabo is now the top target of the Holy Knights, he will be facing their captain. It’s older brother vs older brother.
The Revs and Holy Knights are the 2 factions diametrically opposed to one another.
No. Post time skip flashbacks tend to be dragged out. Even the ones that typically get praised like the Kuma one has all the Bekori nonsense.
Besides that, they tend to be inconsistent and negatively impact the characterization of characters like Whitebeard. There’s repetitive elements as well...
It’s the Nika reveal. I don’t see “jump the shark” as just poor writing. It’s a ridiculous event for the sake of trying to keep things fresh.
That’s the moment Oda decided to ignore all that was already established in the series and introduce a “god-related” power up so that he could give...
They have to remain the underdogs among the Yonko crews in the race to the One Piece. I don’t see them getting one until they defeat the Blackbeard Pirates. That will likely be the final one too.
What made Roger lose his “aura” was Oda failing to differentiate him from any of his contemporaries. He didn’t beat any of his rivals (I’m a WB simp so I’ll exclude him, but have him beat up Shiki or Big Mom for goodness’ sake).
In the end, the only thing on his side was luck, and it ultimately...
Luffy vs Crocodile, Lucci & Katakuri for me for separate reasons:
- Crocodile had the best finish in the anime (episode 126 still my favourite)
- Lucci for the emotions
- Katakuri for the Choreography
Whitebeard should have never been a part of the Rocks Pirates. The flashback just cemented it for me.
I’ll give it a 7. Despite not liking Rocks as much as others seem to, he’s been the most entertaining thing to grace the series in a while.
