Apoo's DF is hax like Law. What we saw this chapter is similar to what would happen if un-nerfed Law used his DF abilities on Luffy and Zoro without them knowing about his powers.

Yes because Luffy gets KO'd while Zoro is fine straight away and can run and carry Luffy while fending off attackers.

It's classic One Piece. People still end up analysing and thinking too deeply about these skirmishes as if a serious Luffy or Zoro couldn't have dealt with Apoo 1v1.

Luffy was left unconscious though, so between the time he was KO'd and he regained his consciousness, without Zoro to carry him, he could have been killed or permanently neutralised by Apoo or some random fodder.

Apoo was the Ace of the Beast Pirates all along.

Both cases hardly matter in the grand scheme of things. It just shows that characters can get hurt/wounded/have trouble. Fandoms get too caught up in trying to score points they feel as if their characters can't take any damage or have difficulty.

You know what's funny people who kept saying Killer 'one shot' Zoro, have to now say that Apoo one shot Luffy, according to their own definition of what a one-shot is.

While Apoo landed clean hits on Luffy and Zoro, they don't seem to be that powerful, Zoro looks fine afterwards running around and fighting and Luffy looks fine at the end of the chapter too.

So in the end Zoro tanked Apoo's slash, then carried KO'd Luffy while defending incoming attacks.
