It’s not headcannon. Shanks losing an arm is canon. The fact that Mihawk continued challenging Shanks to duels is also fact. When was the last time Mihawk challenged a swordsman after he had supposedly beaten them?:goyea:

Except the reality is Shanks is stronger than Mihawk. Always has been. Shanks is humble unlike a certain character. He's not the type to go around boasting about his power. When the time comes for Oda to reveal it, I guarantee many Mihawk/Zoro fans will cry about it.
