I agree that Shounen mangas/animes mostly don't have srrong endings. Looking at it this way, stuffs like FMA, Code Geass, and Steins;Gate are the exceptions and not the rule.

I think the ending is a fine. Like, a 7 out of 10. I wish the creators didn't rush the final arc, though.
It kinda reminds me of the The World God Only Knows, though. A great series with a rushed final arc (in TWGOK it was sadly due to the author's health), but with a nice ending all the same.
