Let's see how Zoro handles Awakened Lucci's speed and his mysterious shigan that got through Kizaru's student's ultimate barrier technique (which did block Kizaru last chapter. That surprised me. I have been arguing that panel could just be an instant before the kick went through the barrier)...
Indeed. CP9 agents specialized in a form of rokushiki. Jyabura was a master of tekkai while Kaku was a master of rankyaku, but Lucci was a master of all of them. His rankyaku gaichou could cut a battleship in half, steel and all, while his form of Tekkai could bounce back the damage rather than...
Zoro already tamed Enma and his output with it varies a lot. He can go from not hurting base Kaido's neck with a blitz technique to making dragon Kaido bleed with an AoE technique. The blade changes nothing now.
Being blocked by Lucci of all people using his armament is fine, too. On one hand...
Other than him simply being cooler and a beloved villain, my assumption is based on Lucci being YC1-ish compared to the others being random VAs (that's their portrayal).
Laugh all you want, but there's no reason to believe any of them is a decent match for Zoro, so if Zoro is not engaging...
True, but not with a high ranking swordsman "2nd of the crew" right next to his opponent.
I'm having trouble finding Shiryu exciting (despite loving his design) but he's for sure Zoro's opponent so let's hope Oda makes something good with him.
