I think their plan is still set , to bring Wano under control if Kaido get defeated but they will not succeed .

Luffy will get up sooner he wants to party and to eat. Linlin and Kaido no if they are lucky then will get thrown out to the outside of Wano by the eruption. if they are unlucky they will just die.

Wano might have been created like that by Joyboy and Luffy's DF i think it might he streched some islands from the ground, to make that weird waterfall. it is really odd.
