It's a horrible idea. Since there's no such thing as company closure and since wealth is "distributed" among workers, there was no incentive to cut costs or innovate, cause workers weren't hurt by working for a company with losses. So you can imagine why there's no innovation or long term...

That would take at least two days to write :christunate: It doesn't work, it always leads to economic collapse. Companies could never sink due to losses, banks would lent to failing companies, everything depended on the state, then the state went into massive debt to maintain this somehow...

Well, most mining laws in Europe demand that part of the royalties go to the local communities, which in itself is great (this is not the case for US states). Again, it depends on how the country is governed.

I do not subscribe to the newly appeared socialist ideas. It's a terrible trend and it only came alive in countries that have clearly had 0 experience with it.
