Unrelated to what we’re talking about, but I’ve been wondering about this: did Alibaba ever address what he did in the Weeb game? I was surprised to see him back around here lately.

This is a good example of what I mean by unreliable. Aries often does things that are... unexpected.

There’s nothing wrong with Aries, but his games are always full of mechanics and abilities, with no regard for balance or readability. Many people feel like his games are overwhelming, or too far removed from mafia. Besides that, he’s earned a reputation for being... unreliable, to say the least.

Are signups posted? I’ve been trying to sign up for a game for days.

At this point, with the NF ownership and staff in such disarray, I think the best thing is to abandon NF and consolidate members onto Worstgen. I’m planning to try and bring some of my loyal NF players over here for my game.

Ah, forgive me. I’ve soured on NF, but that’s no reason why anyone else shouldn’t check it out.

Oddjutsu only hosts tiny, lightly themed games. Last I saw, Usopp’s signups weren’t filled. I don’t know who Dark Shadow is. For many years, NF had many hosts who ran large, very original, and very complex setups every month. If you know what NF used to be, then you know it’s on a decline.

That would depend who’s hosting. I can handily rouse at least 30 players there. Aries can do more, though he does so by taking in brand new players and notorious trolls. Everyone else seems to be lucky to find 20 players.

Platinum hosts games maybe once or twice a year, if that. Kue only just returned, and he has only hosted a couple of very small games. That leaves Aries as the only consistent host left, and he has a very specific style of game that many people don’t enjoy. You really only proved my point. :p

Sort of. NF is on the decline, to be sure. NF is being propped up by the Orojackson/Worstgen players. Most of the people who play on NF now are from this forum. Nearly all the original NF players have left. NF’s biggest problem is a lack of hosts. There’s very, very few people still hosting...

It's disappointing that the Valentines game is so... heteronormative. A more capable host would have come up with a more inclusive game mechanic.

At the beginning of night 1, I was told that I was role crushed for one cycle and forced into a neighbor chat. If Akai says I'm lying, then he should brace himself for the post-game when I show the screenshot and flame him until I get forum banned.

So you don't want to lynch an inactive because it might not yield info, but you're okay with lynching an indie, who will also yield you no info? I'm taking that as a slip. Those two thoughts are incompatible. You are only pretending to be interesting in achieving a good lynch. vote Usopp
