Agreed! I studied literary criticism in grad school, so I am familiar with feminism through a literary context. It’s actually one of the easier criticisms to apply to different texts. I especially enjoyed studying domestic fiction through a feminist perspective.

I also see feminism as the opportunity to have choices to live the life you want to live. Of course those choices shouldn’t harm you or others.

If a woman chooses to embrace tradition feminine roles because that fulfills her, then would you still support her choices? I genuinely want to know.

In regards to emotional vulnerability, men and women are both emotional. Speaking with a western mindset, women are societally allowed to express their emotions in a variety of ways while men aren’t. Men are more likely to shut down or get angry as means of expressing their emotions.
