What´s the best currently airing show you can recommend? Maybe I might try a few new things I have not watched for a while after the good experience with Warrior. Btw, for me it´s Succession.

So finished the two seasons available, third season is supposed to come next year. I definitely recommend it. The acting is a bit shaky at times, but the central story is really great, and actually shows the complexity of the situation and the moral grey area and features actual three...

Warrior (2019) Either I alone have missed this one or people are sleeping on it, it is pretty good so far.

Odas fighting style is very abstract and stays on the basic level of concept, and he is either not able to come up with details or does not want to because it would limit his possibilities in the story for obvious reasons but to play devils advocate... From what i gather, alluding to a RPG...

It is essentially two vs one for each fight, plus i think the og bb crew are the lower commanders, so opponents for mid and weak trio. They get wrecked.

As a straightforward detective story or whatever, it is inherently lacking and unsatisfying for obvious reasons (murderer never caught) compared to Hollywood thrillers with a similar topic topic (something like Seven for example) but i guess that´s part of the point since people were even more...

Ok makes sense. To some degree the movie gets its quality due to the connection to real life but the execution was flawless imo...

Finally watched Park Chan-Wook´s (Oldboy...) newest movie Decision to Leave, as usual great, but not my favorite of his movies, probably not even top 5. His typical style of cinematography, editing, narrative layering and so forth is there, but the story setting seemed too often done before.
