Yes, Shibashou is too good for Ousen to get. Him becoming a vassal to another great general would be insulting.

There's just not enough information to properly scale Gakujou. He should be somewhere around Fire Dragons tier, but that is a wide range on it's own.

If I recall Bananji's charge was a surprise attack from a flank + he also had Futei working his way from the other side. Meanwhile Shibashou attacked from the front and had to deal with Ousen's proper formations. I can't imagine any version of Bananji wining.
