As you can see in this thread. I'm not telling people to stop criticizing One Piece.
I'm inviting them to broaden their perspective on storytelling, receptions and One Piece in general.
You understood how Shueisha makes money, now understand that this hatred phenomenon can directly impact that and Oda on an artistic level. You are welcome to leave the train anytime if you can't take OP anymore, I won't go anywhere and I'll keep being a pain in the ass.
If one tweak your perspective enough, they can even change your perception of a color.
Now imagine how your perspective can influence the way you see a story
This is too much. Even I didn't think people would be so selfishas to go that far simply because they have a problem with the narration.
This must stop and people need to listen to that perspective right now before One Piece gets impacted in ways that will disgust us all.
People don't realize...
Nah, this is just one of the reasons.
Mine is more personnal, I simply wish to see the full vision, with its big flaws and amazing achievements, all in one complex structure.
Hi.
Lately, my fear about the hate in this fanbase felt at ease... Thinking that it would not impact One Piece.. but I might have been mistaken.
Hate is spreading still and it does impact Oda. This phenomenon, if it keeps rising, will worsen. As such..
I implore anyone who currently hates...
Still Peak

On a side note I wish the current french translation would upgrade their pure writing skill a bit... I appreciate the work, but it's not the most pleasant to read. That's something that I love with TCB, they keep a good level of pure wordings.

To answer to you...
I would not say that. In One Piece, the real wonders of narration are often hidden under layers of already amazing writing.
What some people see with Sanji here, is something that we have been trying to show for years. It has always been there, people like MelonTee for ex have described that...
It such an important lesson for young people to hear. Took me so many years to understand that...
That's why to me, the writing of Sanji has always be so captivating, it capture the worst and the best of what Oda can do and frankly, the best completely outshine the worst in many ways.
I think I'll completely agree with you once I see it.
Looking at the reactions of apoliticized and ignorant people on the subject, I prefer to wait for everyone to watch it to then list every BS. Seems like - for them - it is shocking enough to be a waking up call.
Clearly a reception like...
Please, people, watch "Naza" if you can (the version of the Venice festival, not the newly released documentary from Israel to bury the case). I didn't watch it yet, but I got an idea of the content. This should be the definitive waking up call for people who have doubt regarding the situation...
