We've already seen Snakeman's strongest attack and Oda tends to have characters finish their opponents with brand new attacks

It looked cool because G4's design is trash while Base Luffy+coat actually looks kingly.

I bet Oda did that simply because Base Luffy has more drip than G4 and the whole point of the scene was making Luffy look cool.

Luffy will beat Kaido in base at this rate.
