Well back when chapter 1063 came out we thought Law is going to fight all the commanders + BB by himself. He didn't. Why even bringing up Law in this? He's already clashing with BB. The "subordinates" can fight Bepo or Jean Bart or each other idc lol. Unless there is also Aokiji on the BBs ship, but that's only more hype for Law so I don't mind as long as it looks and sounds good.

Shanks is important but in not-engaging-much kind of way. One Piece is 90% done and besides Romance Dawn all he did for the 20+ years is played a role of mysterious looming figure. He is important like Roger, or Whitebeard, but not like a character whose adventures we follow if that makes sense.

If Oda continues crowding characters on Elbaf while Luffy is still running around the lab on Egghead I might start thinking Oda indeed might skip Elbaf and we're getting the island in small bits instead like in this chapter. Because what's Luffy even gonna do in there after everybody did their...
