Could be.
Whatever it is.... is pretty irrelevant as long as Lucci didnt face it in combat. That lightning was tiny as hell too, so im not sure whats up with that.
That last panel is likely CoC flaring up there. Kinda like when he made the "Ill become the King of Hell" proclamation after clapping King.
I think that's supposed to be a teaser for whats to come. Still doesnt mean Lucci gets offpanel feats of blocking/parrying CoC Zoro. :goyea:
What did Oda draw?
Zoro & Lucci clashing in cqc with smoke around Zoro's swords.
What you want from it?
Assuming offpanel that Zoro used named KoH moves w/ CoC and Lucci remains unscathed.
Reality? Nitoryu CoA Zoro clashing with Lucci still with the fight being stuck in stalling hell.
Not so...
These "could haves" and "would haves" are exactly what im talking about.
To me its irrelevant. If Oda wanted to show KoH Zoro w/ CoC clashing with Awakened Lucci, he would've simply drawn it this chapter. No need to suddenly draw Awakened Lucci & 2 sword, CoA Zoro.
As simple as that.
P.S. I...
I dont believe in giving character these type of feats in offpaneled clashes tbh, nor do i really care for them. I put a lot more stock into on panel showings, where this battle has just been "status updates" so far rather than actual combat.
Besides, the very next chapter after Lightning...
Lets be frank, you want to use that tiny Lightning in that scene to prove that Zoro used CoC off panel against Lucci so far.
When in reality it's 2 sword, CoA Zoro clashing... do you really need me to spell it out for you why thats faulty logic? When you're happy saying Luffy didnt use CoC in...
Max CoA usage but no CoC being imbued, which is drawn like this.
Thick Black Lighting = CoC infusion like for every other character who uses it.
The CoA smoke is overflowing CoA, which was Enma's quirk that Zoro now uses as a skill on all 3 swords.
But yea, King of Hell 3 Sword Style is both...
