The final war needs to be split in smaller arcs, so each fraction can demonstrate its role and purpose. Similar to how Gintama made it. Doing such a large scale war in a single arc is always a big mistake. Fairy Tail and Naruto are great examples of that.
Well, I don't think Oda is mainly responsible for this. It's similar how Shueisha basically forced him to help with OP Movie Red. Now it's the same situation and poor guy has to help with the production of a b tier movie. It just sucks and really robs my enjoyment of this arc.
@Cruxroux I found the exact number per episode:
https://collider.com/one-piece-netflix-live-action-budget/
For example, GoT episode budget was at $15 million at the later seasons. So OP Live Action budget is even higher than GoT...
B tier live action adaptation, B tier actors, bad cgi and finally, Arlong... Seriously, wth did they do with Arlong?
Why involving Oda into this soon-to-be-failed live action production? Dude's schedule is already tight af, he barely sleeps for 3h ffs.
Talk no Jutsu is the most stupidest plot device I've ever seen in a shounen. At least beat the opponent into a bloody pulp traditionally, not talk into said fucker how wrong he or she is.
I'm surprised how Naruto didn't try doing this shit with Kaguya lol.
Well, I can't really blame him considering what he went through. His entire clan + family was killed by his own brother, only to find out that the village basically "forced" Itachi to do the killing. This would mess up everyone.
What I find more interesting is (yes, Luffy deserves to get his revenge way more than Zoro) the fact how Whitebeard just easily caught somebody moving with LS with his bare hands. Reaction speed of OP characters is really impressive.
Why they trynna hard competing Zoro with Luffy when it comes to villains? It's the same kind of mentality which Sanjibros have when they always try to compete Sanji with Zoro.
Kaido was the first Yonko being beaten by Luffy.
Kizaru is now the first Admiral being beaten by Luffy. (If Kizaru...
Nah they can't always escape from admirals. And it's also getting repetitive of the same short clashes against admirals which do not mean much. A conclusion needs to happen this arc, so that the strawhats can move on.
