Lucci literally couldn’t do anything when NERFED Fujitora and Greenbull were fighting. If Lucci is so weak that he would get in the way of nerfed Fuji and Ryo, what do you think happens if he fights Kizaru?

Btw, you know how you mentioned (maybe it wasn’t you and if so I’m sorry) that Kizaru might have a surprising fighting style like how Kuzan was a boxer? I think Borsalino has extremely strong defense. And he puts out his hand like Sengoku (his teacher) and Sentomaru to do it.

Idk. Oda likes to look at wikis of character moves and databooks when fights start cuz he forgets. and Garp’s databook literally says something like “he’s fast enough to knock down ANY active pirate.” Oda clearly showed that on Hachinosu lol

I’d actually argue his writing has clearly evolved, especially when you look at structure and story pacing. It’s super jarring in Egghead tbh.

It’s just how Shonen goes. I think Old Garp’s speed feats imply Big Mom and Kaido even now would be standing still to him. What does that say about them?
