I also don't know about Kizaru dying (Oda rarely lets characters die) but there is really a high chance Kizaru gets defeated this arc.
The constant parallels with SA, Luffy vs Kizaru rematch, etc. At least Luffy won't lose at this point of the story. I learned my lesson since Katakuri vs Luffy...
Eh, but you also realise that Rayleigh would be linked to their PL too since his CoC was compared to Shanks? So again, how is Rayleigh not Yonko level?
Vice Captain > subordinate, that's why.
After Roger, there was Rayleigh. It's clear that Rayleigh was stronger than Oden.
I don't even understand that comparison Jo.
Neither of them are Vice Captains, Rayleigh is. And in what One Piece world is subordinate > Vice Captain?
I have no certain...
At least we can conclude that SA Luffy*100 = Old Rayleigh if all of them individually got 100 times stronger.
Usopp was several times weaker than Luffy so no, he's not = Luffy.
At least I can give the benefit of the doubt to have G5 > Old Rayleigh or Luffy winning against Old Rayleigh since...
Dude, I'm not the wrong who wrote this: "Rayleigh is 100 times stronger than you boys (to the SNs)".
Then Luffy: "We are 100 times stronger than 2 years ago".
This was a direct parallel to the Rayleigh statement and should show how much Luffy grew since Sabondy Archiple.
So many parallels to SA and Luffy making a huge statement on Kizaru. This is 100% a pure battle against Luffy and Kizaru, a rematch. And it is also the perfect opportunity for Luffy to beat his first admiral opponent after becoming a Yonko.
Better stamina and better stats since Old Rayleigh hasn't touched a sword in decades and his old body decreased his physical power in comparison to his prime self.
Well at the end we have to wait and see how it turns out. Maybe Luffy wins mid diff, maybe high diff or maybe extreme diff. Difficult to tell. We only know that Kizaru is a formidable opponent since he equally matched Rayleigh in swordsmanship.
