If Oda wanted to portray Kaido v Sanji or BM v Sanji, what would he make Sanji accomplish even to what we are aware of? His AP to our knowledge is nowhere capable to sustain the match ups.

@Zoro D Goat Sanji needs to consistently show some lofty AP before we even think about him potentially doing something against Kaido (which won't occur most likely and not just because of his power), or else we take too many steps beyond which is unhealthy, but despite so not forbidden. But...

There's really no substantial reason right now indeed. Oda is clearly portrayal his business to be in the "lower quarters" and there's no reason to entertain a change of scene anytime soon unless the author went nuts. :)

He might have damaged PO but it was superficial damage assuming he did. It's not that PO got his organs ruptured or something or else we would have caught that. Kaido is like much more durable than Queen who is much much more durable than Page One. This explains it indeed.

To be honest people tend to ignore the fact that not every single guy who is relevant to the story will take on Kaido. This is the main logical issue here.

It seems that you can't damage Kaido with brawling combat unless you are Garp or Big Mom or you possess penetration CoA. Swords and in general piercing damage are more efficient. This is why Luffy could only tickle him. And Sanji can't hurt him too. His fire alone can't do anything to Kaido's...
