I get that, but if he wanted to make an example out of Barto he should’ve just wrecked him then leave. Instead he fucks with his head and gives him the false hope that he’s letting them go, only to gun them down when they were leaving:kriwhat:
Nothing noble about this, just lame behavior
I feel like Shanks’ characterization is a complete 180 from the first chapter. The guy who let himself get beat in a bar full of people all of a sudden cares about his reputation :seriously:
Hard to believe this is the same noble pirate from chapter 1
Drake stabbing him on the back isn’t an anti feat and neither is Apoo landing hits on him, I can even see that happening to Lucci.
The only thing that puts a stain on his resume is the Izo situation, I don’t even see Vergo having a performance like that.
And while he went Kamikaze against Maha we see Mr.Go on his ass lmao. If Oda truly respected him he wouldn’t make him look this bad against Izo in a 2v1. Imma give him the benefit of the doubt and say he wasn’t trying because it’s really inconsistent with the intercepting feat.
I don’t see how Mr.Go is above Izo. Even if the fight was off panel, the only panel we get to see says a lot. Wherever you put Mr.Go, you have to put Izo above.
Mr.Go completely broke the scaling lmaoo, imma take the Vivre cards with a grain of salt from now on
This doesn’t make sense at all. Izo managed to do good in a 2v1 against Mr.Go and even managed to take out Maha while Mr.Go was on his ass. Izo gets obliterated if you switch Mr.Go out with Lucci
