Yeah, we're in dire need of a favorite tab. Regardless, I think this game strikes the balance between gameplay freedom and the traditional Zelda dungeons people want back.
There's rumors going around of a OOT remake Alla FF7R. Honestly this has the potential of being the best Zelda experience if they go above and beyond by expanding hyrule, adding new mechanics and providing a new take on the story.

Any of you playing echoes of wisdom?
As much as it hurts, this is a good point. They should be thinking bigger and better for their next game. Maybe take everything that works from the new formula and mash it together with the best aspects of a traditional zelda game.
I don’t think it comes down to illumination itself but the script. The studio must be willing to do something that borderlines the pg 13 rating. Also, they have to make a big, huge, titanic decision that has never been made before. What kind of character will link be? If I was the screenwriter...
There’s a youtuber called ratatoskr that has repedeatly stated that while he prefers the old Zelda games, he feels that the Zelda team wouldn’t be able to do anything special with that formula anymore. I think there’s some truth to that. I still believe we’ll get a classic Zelda type game...
I replayed all of them recently. Totk and botw have superior gameplay. Dungeons are the one and only thing the previous games do better. Thing is, dungeons are at the very core of what a Zelda game is.
They’re tweaking the formula in order to meet those expectations. These dungeons were better than the divine beasts. The bosses are amazing and the gameplay is probably the best ever in gaming. I need to replay it to decide whether it is my favorite Zelda game or not, but I wouldn’t be surprised...
I’m done with the main story you sons of whore. I liked it a lot. I still need to let it simmer to give it a score but I absolutely loved it. On my way to collect all the Bubbul gems now!
