    I don't think Mera will ever be effective against Akainu or that Sabo will solo him, but I guess Luffy + Sabo is a great bet realistically, as per revenge of the brothers. Mera can probably still give a layer of protection to some extent and be used to boost speed and other quirks. 🤔

    Technically Luffy didn't awaken yet so perhaps the awakening it doesn't have to be taken literally. For Luffy awakening I'm betting it will be based off vulcanization and be used against Akainu in order to efficiently comprise his crazy arsenal and probably offensively too to some extent. :cheers:
