I think Whitebeard ~ Roger and that Roger had a unique ability that allowed him to fight along par the Gura. We’ve gotten hints of the Will of D all the way back since drum, so it’s probably going to be related to that
Fuji never helped the revolutionaries. All Fuji did was not recapture the slaves, he still stopped them from freeing more.
Fujis a marine true and true
I think it’s because even Oda doesn’t understand it and just uses it as a way to hype individuals. However the Will of D has been a power set up since Drum Kingdom.
It’s not a type of haki.
Haki as a power system is probably the worst one written in Shonen, that’s not even arguable. And seeing how the Will of D well predates haki is enough for me. Wouldn’t make sense for it to be haki.
Because haki only has 3 colors. Odas not going to retcon the entire haki system just to include the Will of D. When it’ll be easier just to have it be a different ability and the “Will” is just a figure of speech like Sabo inheriting Aces will through his fruit.
And your points about the Kaido...
When aces will was inherited, it was done through the DF.
And I read Kaido vs Luffy same was as krieg vs Luffy where Krieg believed that because of his military might he was the strongest, Kaido believed that because he had the strongest haki he was the strongest. And Luffy disproved both...
Will of D doesn’t mean haki, because it’s a unique ability only found in a certain sect of people.
And you get that villains are usually wrong about their opinions just like Kaido?
Why would he be holding back his haki? Has anyone held back their haki level when using CoC?
Or he simply has a power related to the Will of D which has been set up since Drum Kingdom
In the Oden Flashback we saw that Rogers swordsmanship haki and strength wasn’t able to overcome Whitebeards haki and strength.
Whitebeard didn’t even use the gura to clash with Roger. So we know roger had a power beyond haki or Whitebeard would have to be an entire level beyond Roger.
