There's no translation for it, I think it was an idea flung out of OP's mind. A legit brainy question, but there's evidence that the slashes are not invisible and that's because they mark the ground which makes them visible even if one could not see them somehow.

They are visible, or at least this is what the look tells us. I think it can make absolutely sense either way, because the ground is marked by those slashed. Also OP characters have hell of sights, they can surely see them coming even if they are faster than what the anime and manga make it look.
