In the beginning of the war.
Kizaru literally stated he is not aiming at beating Rayleigh, and also stated Rayleigh was the one keeping him in check.
Cant be clearer.
Being forced is the key, you have a top tier swordsman in front of you, without defense you unnecessarily risk injury.
Highly...
Attack was aimed at taking out Whitebeard. If he is stronger in attack power with a sword he would have attacked with a sword, for example flying slash.
He chose differently, pretty simple logic.
A sword provides an additional layer of defense, yes Kizaru took out the sword against Rayleigh...
Being a swordswoman is irrelevant in itself and not the decisive aspect, the relevant thing is if her swordsmanship is the peak of her might, if so, yes she is under Mihawk, if not, it´s stupid to assume so.
Guys around here are hypocritical, they blame people for putting swordsmanship on a...
Man people really have weird definitions while also putting the title or rather the tag "swordsman" on a pedestal when it literally just describes someone who can use sword as a fighting style.
Not using it most of the time simply means his swordsmanship is not his strongest forte, that´s all.
It just means his other abilities, like you said, are significantly ahead of his swordsmanship. Like, the Op Op puts him at high tier spectrum, without it he would be mid tier probably.

Yes because for now, even if Roger has uber haki, it does not provide a separate set of skill not reliant on the sword/weapon itself, haki is a support system from what we know at this point, and advanced CoC is a theory at this point.
Hmm? I never said that. Until something actually happens in the manga that contradicts that, Mihawk is > Shanks, even if i do not believe the gap is as huge as Admiral Lee Hung claimed in his thread.
You fall under it if it is your main fighting style and you have nothing else to offer.
Yes, anybody who can fight with a sword and it does not hinder them and is useful can be classified as such.
Sanji is skilled with knives but he has a code of not to use them. Would he have profited from using them possibly when Jyabra attacked him with his claws? I would think so.
And Coby...
