    One thing, the plan is to escape but we don't know that the Strawhats actually escaped, we've not seen what the shocking event is.

    It's an escape arc because there are no fights, Kuma oneshotted any potential match up for the remaining strawhats, and people wanted Zoro to fight these scrubs. :kayneshrug:
