There's a difference between plot preventing a superior character from killing a weaker character and plot making a weaker character magically strong. My point addresses the latter. When their opinions are wrong, they should have the decency to accept it.

Well said. These guys can't think logically and can't accept being wrong. It is better for them to claim "Retcon" "Plot" "Oda is a bad writer" etc
